Las autoridades colombianas cerraron la frontera con Venezuela tras confusos disturbios entre comerciantes informales y contrabandistas y la guardia del vecino país, que dejaron un muerto y un herido, reseñó Associated Press.
Los hechos provocaron protestas y disturbios cerca de la ciudad de Cúcuta lo que obligó al cierre de la frontera y de algunos comercios ante la tensa situación que se vive.
Versiones recogidas por los medios locales señalan que el fallecido se habría resistido a una requisa de la policía venezolana cuando transportaba varios productos básicos y recibió un tiro en el cuello.
