Al menos siete muertos al chocar aviones en Eslovaquia (Fotos)

Al menos siete personas han muerto al colisionar en el aire dos aviones con decenas de aficionados al paracaidismo que participaban en un ejercicio en Eslovaquia, informó la televisión pública del país centroeuropeo.EFE

El choque de los dos aparatos se ha producido sobre las 08.30 GMT a 1.500 metros de altura, y las primeras imágenes transmitidas por televisión muestran restos del fuselaje cerca de la localidad de Ilava, a unos 150 kilómetros al norte de la capital, Bratislava.

Según los equipos de rescate, en los dos aviones viajaban unas 40 personas, y la mayoría de ellos se salvó al arrojarse de los aparatos en paracaídas poco antes de la colisión.





Al lugar, un paraje montañoso de difícil acceso cerca de la frontera con la República Checa, se han desplazado tres helicópteros de rescate.

Los primeros datos de los investigadores del accidentes apuntan que los aviones son dos Let L-410 Turbolet, un modelo bimotor de corto alcance de fabricación checa.

En el momento del accidente los paracaidistas se entrenaban para un espectáculo aéreo que iba a tener lugar este fin de semana en la localidad de Slavnica.
