Devastados quedaron los comercios en Ciudad Bolívar tras saqueos (Fotos)

Ciudad Bolívar comenzaba a regresar el lunes a la normalidad tras ser arrollada el fin de semana por una ola de saqueos que devastó a la mayoría de sus locales comerciales y obligó a residentes de algunas urbanizaciones a defenderse de turbas de delincuentes que intentaban ingresar a sus hogares.

Los disturbios se iniciaron el jueves pasado cuando se esperaba que se empezara a distribuir una nueva familia de monedas adaptadas a la gran inflación que sufre el país, el mismo día en el que debía dejar de circular definitivamente el billete de 100 bolívares, hasta ahora el de mayor denominación.





Solo en ese estado se registraron saqueos que afectaron a 450 locales, informó hoy la mayor patronal del país en la zona (Fedecámaras).

Tras los disturbios en Bolívar, que dejaron cinco fallecidos y más de 250 detenidos solo en esa zona, el Gobierno tomó la decisión de prorrogar la vigencia de los 100 bolívares, que equivalen a unos 15 centavos de dólar, hasta el 2 de enero próximo. (LaPatilla.com)
