Mónaco se ha puesto este domingo de largo para celebrar una de sus fiestas más importantes: su Día Nacional. Como cada 19 de noviembre la Familia Real se ha unido junto a su pueblo para celebrar este gran día que ha reunido a los Grimaldi casi al completo. Tan solo han faltado Alejandra de Hannover -hija de la princesa Carolina y Ernesto de Hannover- y las hijas de la princesa Estefanía: Pauline Ducret y Camille Gottlieb, el que sí que estuvo fue su hermano, Louis Ducret, publica Hola.com.
A las 9:30 horas de la mañana el príncipe Alberto pasaba revista al ejército ante la atenta mirada de su mujer, Charlene -muy elegante con abrigo azul de terciopelo y pamela- y sus hermanas las princesas Carolina -de gris- y Estefanía, que también eligió el azul. En la gran escalinata del Palacio Principesco aguardaban Pierre Casiraghi, con su mujer, Beatrice Borromeo; Carlota y Andrea Casiraghi con su mujer, Tatiana Santo Domingo.
Después se realizó la misa de Te Deum, oficiada en la Catedral de Nuestra Señora Inmaculada por el arzobispo de Mónaco y presidida por el príncipe Alberto, junto a su mujer, Charlene y que es el primero de los actos que tendrán lugar durante toda este jornada, en un día tan importante para los ciudadanos del Principado. A un lado del templo se colocó Alberto y Charlene, junto con Carolina y Estefanía. Enfrente de ellos, los hijos de Carolina y sus esposas, junto a su primo, Louis Ducret. La misa, que duró algo más de una hora, contó con una escolanía y un coro. En un momento de la ceremonia, el Príncipe permaneció sentado en su silla, mientras el resto de asistentes permanecían de pie.
Como cierre a este día grande en el Principado llegó el momento más esperado: el saludo de la Familia Real desde el balcón de Palacio, donde aparecieron los más pequeños de la familia -los mellizos de Charlene y Alberto y los hijos de Carlota, Pierre y Andrea al ser un acto menos protocolario, más corto y mucho más lúdico.
