La exposición se llevó a cabo en el Madison Square Garden y participaron 192 razas. Fue la edición número 141 de la Westminster Kennel Club.

Flynn, un Bichón Frisé, fue el ganador de la exposición canina más importante en Estados Unidos. Participaron 2.711 perros que llegaron desde distintas ciudades estadounidenses, y de países como Japón y Rusia. Flynn ganó el máximo galardón, el Best in Show.





En este concurso anual, los animales están invitados a competir bajo estrictos requerimientos de entrada, como por ejemplo, un historial de victorias en otras competencias. Este año participaron de 2.711 perros de 192 razas diferentes.
