El museo de Style Icons de Newbridge, Irlanda, abrió al público la exhibición “Growing Up Kurt”, exposición de objetos personales del fallecido líder de la banda de rock estadounidense Nirvana este 17 de julio de 2018.
Objetos personales que incluyen su último vehículo, ropa y dibujos de la infancia se pueden apreciar en la muestra que estará abierta hasta septiembre. Un incendio en el Museo de Historia de Aberdeen, ciudad natal de Cobain en Seattle, destruyó algunos de los objetos personales del guitarrista del movimiento “grunge” que se popularizó en el mundo en los años 90.
La hermana de Kurt Cobain, Kim Cobain, su madre Wendy O’Connor y su hija Frances Bean Cobain, estuvieron presentes en la inauguración.
