The Presidential Commissioner for Human Rights and Attention to Victims, Humberto Prado, denounced the events that occurred this Monday, July 12th, when officials of Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship attacked the President in Charge, Juan Guaidó.

“The conduct displayed by the extermination group under the acronym of DIE and the strategy of the PNB, were acts to consummate the crime, however, they did not achieve their objective due to independent circumstances,” said Prado in a message published on his official network accounts.
The Venezuelan official recalled that in Venezuela there has only been one assassination of a president and it was perpetrated against Carlos Delgado Chalbaud and executed by Rafael Simón Urbina.
